Claims Administration
Seven Corners handles all of the claims administration when your employees or members utilize our international travel medical and health insurance programs. Our mission is to ease the paperwork burden on our corporate clients and allow their business travelers to focus on work and their health.
We also partner with our corporate clients to define customized health care and benefit plans. These specifications are incorporated into our claims payment processes to offer our clients maximum control. Claims are paid based on the plan design and the arrangement with the provider and Seven Corners (i.e., wire transfer to a bank account in foreign currency or via check). If members are required to make payment upon receiving medical services, they can fax claims to Seven Corners for immediate reimbursement.
On a monthly basis, Seven Corners also will provide the following reports to our clients for all out-of-U.S. claims: top 10 diagnoses, top 10 expenses and large claims.
The following scenarios demonstrate the benefits of allowing Seven Corners to manage the claims administration process:
- When your employees/members use a health care provider that is IN Seven Corners' international network
- When your employees/members use a health care provider that is OUT of Seven Corners' international network
IN Network Medical Services
If your employee/member is traveling outside of the United States under a Seven Corners' Corporate Travel Health Insurance Program, and they use a provider under contract with Seven Corners, claims are submitted directly to Seven Corners by the provider and paid by Seven Corners based on benefits and the arrangement with that particular provider.

If your employee/member is traveling outside of the United States under a Seven Corners' Corporate Travel Health Insurance Program, and they use a provider that is NOT under contract with Seven Corners, we will attempt to obtain a contract. If the provider is not interested in contracting, Seven Corners can negotiate terms for each case and provide a guarantee of payment to the provider for covered benefits to assist in lowering the out-of-pocket expense for your employee/member. There are some cases where a non-contracted provider may request payment for medical services prior to leaving the facility. Seven Corners can intervene and wire payment for covered services.
