Expand Your Market with RoundTrip International

Apr 20, 2016

Travel is continuing to grow; 78 million visitors are projected to arrive in the U.S. in 2016, and 1.2 billion tourists traveled the globe in 2015! RoundTrip International gives you a new way to capture this market with a trip protection plan for travelers living outside the USA.

Where do you find this market? Here are a couple of examples:

  • Your neighbor, Carla, has an aunt who is traveling to the USA for two weeks this summer. Carla wants to buy a plan for her aunt that covers the cost of the plan ticket and provides medical coverage.

  • Holly lives in France and is traveling to the Olympics in Brazil in August. She is spending a lot of money on tickets and airfare, so she wants a trip cancellation plan.

RoundTrip International is a comprehensive trip cancellation plan for non-U.S. residents, and any agent who sells our current product line can sell it.

Plan features include:

  • One price covers trips for 1 to 30 days long.

  • Pricing is similar to trip cancellation plans, based on age and trip cost.

  • Insureds must be non-U.S. residents traveling outside their home country (a non-U.S. mailing address is required).

  • Coverage is not available to residents of Canada, Switzerland, Australia, the USVI, Cuba, and Syria.

  • Trips must originate outside the U.S., but insureds are covered worldwide.

  • It covers trip cancellation, interruption, delay, and missed connection.

  • Emergency travel benefits include medical evacuation, bedside traveling companion, return of minor children, transportation of spouse/domestic partner, and political evacuation.

  • Coverage for baggage/personal effects, baggage delay and delivery, sports equipment rental are included.

  • Personal liability coverage is provided up to $100,000.

  • Need more details? Review the brochure here.

This plan will be added to our sales funnel, so if you use the link for our home page, your clients can purchase there. If you’d prefer to direct clients to the individual product page, visit the agent portal and download the product link.

RoundTrip International will launch April 26, 2016.
