Our RoundTrip Family of Plans is Growing

Jun 19, 2017

We are making two changes to our trip protection family effective July 25.

We are adding RoundTrip Choice to round out our plan offerings to include a good, better, and best option.

You may recall that we had a plan named RoundTrip Choice which was terminated in December of 2016. This new option will use the same recognized name, but it will have different benefits and a different carrier.

For pricing and benefits, RoundTrip Choice will fall between RoundTrip Economy, our basic plan option and RoundTrip Elite, our plan with the highest level of benefits. It is underwritten by Crum and Forster, which underwrites both RoundTrip Economy and Elite.

We will add the RoundTrip Choice brochure to the Brochure Builder on July 25 when the plan goes live on our site.

If you have existing links for the previous version of RoundTrip Choice that we sold, you will not need to take any action. We will redirect the link to the new RoundTrip Choice page, and your agent number will follow the link the same way it does with existing plans.

Please note that RoundTrip Choice is not currently available in these states:  Alaska, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, Virginia, Washington. The website will prevent a sale in these states.

The rates for RoundTrip Elite are being adjusted to reflect competition, purchasing patterns, and claims experience.
Rates for states with their own rate structure will not be affected, meaning that rates for these states will not change: Florida, Kansas, Missouri, Virginia, Washington. You can view the updated RoundTrip Elite brochure here.
