Seven Corners Adventure Team: Jim and Justin

Jim, Justin and Bill's Story:

We were invited by our longtime friend and Lloyd’s of London broker, Nigel Garner, to spend the day with several of our Lloyd’s underwriters at the Palmersport Autodrome in Bedford, England. Suffice to say this facility was a racing junkies paradise.

Justin, Bill and I are no strangers to racing and we are constantly trying to satisfy our need for speed, so the opportunity to drive six different cars on seven different circuits in a friendly competition with our colleagues was not one to miss. We have become used to our own race cars and home track in Indiana (Putnam Park Road Course) so the change in venue and vehicles made the day very challenging and exhilarating.

We were able to test our limits and skills in a Caterham 7 Superlight, Ariel Atom 3, BMW M4 GTP, Land Rover Defender, Jaguar JP-LM and culminated with an all too short 20 minute session in the Formula 3000 -- videos below!

It was a great day of racing with a great group of friends! Our need for speed is still not satisfied, nor will it ever be, so Justin and I will be racing our motorcycles at the MCRA Race at Putnam Park Road Course on the July 4th weekend. Stay tuned for our report on that event in a few weeks.
