Meet Shannon G. who has worked as the Graphic Designer for the Seven Corners team for 2 and half years. She helps the team convey information about our products and services through creative design and close attention to detail. Shannon is key to how we bring our messaging to our audience in an engaging way.
"Prior to joining the team, I had no knowledge about travel insurance and its importance (mostly because I’m not well-traveled, yet). I wanted a challenge: to communicate, educate and promote an obscure topic (insurance) with a fun twist (travel) to an audience who may not know the perks of having travel insurance in their back pocket when planning trips and vacations."
Your health insurance at home may not cover you when you're abroad or traveling internationally. It not only covers trip cancellations, but it also is medical insurance that travels with you.
My favorite part of traveling is getting to share the experience with my Fiancé, friends, or family depending on the kind of trip I'm taking. I love seeing new places it fuels my creative side and I leave feeling refreshed and ready to take on work with a new perspective.
Most interesting place I've been to is Denmark and we were there for 8 days. My then boyfriend, now fiancé, and I went there a year after graduating from college to visit his extended family. We got to tour the Lego House that Bjarke Ingles designed, checked out Christiana which operates under its own governance in Copenhagen, and also toured the Danish Design museum in Copenhagen.
If you pass by a store, art piece or local cafe that looks interesting, ALWAYS stop and explore it even if it wasn't on your list of attractions to explore for the day. You'll almost always look back on that experience.
My dream travel destination would be either Italy or Thailand. I love wine, pasta, and Thai food.
I can't travel internationally without packing some clothes and toiletries in my carry-on bag. When we went to Denmark our luggage was stuck in Iceland for two days. Fortunately, my then-boyfriend, now fiancé, and I had outfits we could wear until our luggage showed up, and we stayed with family those days to get used to the time zone difference so they let us use their toiletries etc.
