INDIANAPOLIS – Seven Corners, Inc., an innovative international travel insurance and specialty benefit management company, has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2019 honor by the Indianapolis Star. This marks the second year in a row the company has been recognized by the committee.

The list is based solely on team member feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection.

“There’s an immense feeling of gratification in knowing you’re satisfying both your customers and your team members,” said Justin Tysdal, CEO and co-founder of Seven Corners. “We pride ourselves on creating and maintaining a dynamic company culture fueled by our core value that Customers Come First. We’re  honored to earn this distinction as a direct result of the company culture we’ve created for our team members.”

With more than 25 years of experience in the travel insurance industry, Seven Corners employs more than 200 team members at its Carmel-based headquarters. Since its inception in 1993, Seven Corners has grown to service more than a million customers each year, including international travelers, U.S. government agencies, and insurance companies. Through a wide range of travel insurance plans and insurance benefit management services, Seven Corners delivers health, safety and security to customers when they are away from home.

In addition to being a top comprehensive medical services provider for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Seven Corners is also a member of the US Travel Insurance Association (UStiA) and is an A+ rated Better Business Bureau accredited company. The company was also named one of the top travel insurance companies for 2018.

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”
