Meet the team

Melisa Franklin
Melisa Franklin
Vice President Healthcare Division

Melisa Franklin has 25 years of experience in various roles throughout the health care industry. Much of that experience comes from management roles for provider practices as well as medical claim handling, claim audit and utilization review for a commercial insurance company. She is experienced in cost containment, contract negotiation, compliance, credentialing, and customer service. In her role with Seven Corners, Melisa’s primary responsibilities include management of day-to-day operations within the department, provider contracting, network development, and prison relationships.

Melisa has a BA degree in Healthcare Administration and is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Donna Imel
Donna Imel
Senior Claims Manager

Donna Imel has 25 years of experience in health insurance claims and education. Her early roles as an education coordinator easily transitioned to several years in the medical insurance claims field as a claims examiner, group specialist, auditor, trainer, provider network liaison, and manager. She is experienced in customer service, accounts receivable, quality control, and team leadership.

Donna’s primary role includes the daily management of our claims team, overseeing the accurate processing of claims, weekly invoicing cycles, and active collaboration with account managers to assist in providing timely and efficient service to both our healthcare providers and prison staff.

Nicole Probst
Nicole Probst
Scheduling Manager

Nicole has more than 20 years’ experience in the healthcare industy. Nicole’s primary experience has been in doctors’ offices working closely with providers and patients. During Nicole’s time at Seven Corners she has worked as a Correctional Account Coordinator scheduling inmate appointments for multiple prisons. Nicole has experience in multiple facets of the challenges of scheduling inmate care. Nicole is also well versed in the process for telehealth within the Bureau of Prisons.

Nicole has recently been promoted Manager’s position where she will be managing the scheduling of inmate care for our Correctional Account Coordinator team. Nicole will continue to be a liaison between the prison, providers, and Correctional Account Coordinators.

Leslie Webb
Leslie Webb
Senior Business Development Manager

Leslie Webb has more than 10 years of experience in the health care industry, eight of those with the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) division. In addition to her previous years in management, Leslie’s expertise includes building provider and prison relationships, gaining new business, and claims tracking and processing.

Leslie's main focus as a Business Development Manager is on negotiating financially beneficial reimbursement arrangements with local hospitals, surgery centers, and ancillary facilities, in order to provide a robust provider network for the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

She also serves as a liaison between Seven Corners and its providers. In this role, Leslie focuses on building and maintaining relationships, and addressing providers’ needs and concerns as quickly and effectively as possible.

Account Manager

Kristy Burns has more than 20 years of experience in various industries, including mortgage banking, commercial health care insurance, and financial software sales. She is experienced in contract negotiations, compliance, coordination of benefits, Medicare claims and inquiries, sales support, RFP process, contract language, and customer service.

Kristy’s primary responsibilities now include serving as a liaison between Seven Corners, health care physicians, and hospital networks who provide services for federal inmates incarcerated within the Federal BOP system. She serves as the main point of contact for providers and assists with contract execution and negotiations as well as developing the financial growth of each prison account.

Candy Holman
Account Manager

Candy Holman has more than 15 years of experience in the health care industry, four of those with the BOP division at Seven Corners Correctional Health. Candy is experienced in multiple areas of inmate care as well as with building and maintaining relationships with our providers.

Candy’s primary responsibilities include serving as a liaison between Seven Corners, health care physicians, and hospital networks who provide services for inmates incarcerated within the Federal BOP system. She serves as the main point of contact for providers and assists with contract execution and negotiations as well as developing the financial growth of each prison account.
