Green Cover: For U.S. Immigrants age 60 to 95

Seven Corners is proud to announce an affordable new health care plan for visitors and immigrants to the United States who are 60 to 95 years of age. We understand it can be tough to find proper health insurance when you move to the United States. But with Green Cover, it doesn't have to be!

If you are not a U.S. citizen or a legal U.S. resident, you may not be able to buy a plan from the Health Insurance Marketplace and must find other types of coverage. (There are some exceptions to this. I recommend visiting healthcare.gov to learn more.) This situation can be especially difficult for older people who are coming to the United States.

If you are 60 years of age or older, have a green card, and have lived in the U.S. on a continuous basis for at least five years, you are eligible to apply for Medicare. But what do you do until that time?

Coverage options

If you have been in the United States for less than five years, you are eligible to purchase Green Cover. It is composed of two options for coverage:

  • Part A:
  • Includes hospitalization benefits, inpatient care at a skilled nursing facility, inpatient and outpatient hospice care, and home health care services.

  • Part B:
  • Provides inpatient and outpatient physician and surgeon benefits as well as coverage for supplies, therapy, and ambulance services.
You can choose Part A, Part B, or both. A small international travel coverage benefit is automatically included with any option selected. It covers you for trips anywhere outside the United States.

How hard is it to buy Green Cover?

That’s the best part. The purchase process is quick and easy. You are not required to answer any medical health history questions! As soon as you complete the short online application and enter your payment method, you receive verification of coverage. This includes an ID card with important contact information, so you can contact us with any questions.

Where do I receive care?

After you buy, you can use our large provider network of physicians and medical facilities. If you need help locating a doctor near you, you can access our network 24 hours a day/7 days a week or you can contact Seven Corners at the number shown on your ID card. Visit our Immigrant Insurance page to review Green Cover and another great option for health coverage while you are in the United States, Inbound Immigrant.
