But if you opt into this benefit and pay the increase in cost for it, you’ll get 75% of your trip cost back if you have to cancel for your uncle’s sister’s graduation.

4. Accident and Sickness Medical Expense

The last thing you want to do is get sick on vacation. This is a benefit that will cover you in case you fall ill or get hurt and need to see a doctor. 6. Extension of Coverage

Essentially, all the benefits under your plan will be extended if you must delay your return because of circumstances out of your control (usually a medical issue or a cancelled flight). This extension lasts until you reach your destination, or until 5 days after the trip was supposed to end, so you don’t have to worry that your coverage ends before your trip does. 7. Rental Car Damage
