You can choose the medical coverage limit and deductible that best meet your needs while also providing the mandatory level of coverage for countries that require health insurance.

Yes, you can buy travel insurance after booking a flight and, generally, any time before you travel. Some benefits, such as optional add-on Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) coverage, are only available within a specified number of days after the date your initial trip deposit is received. If you’re adding coverage, such as for a flight after already booking and insuring a resort stay, certain benefits may only be available from the time you paid for your flight. This time period varies by plan. For this reason, we recommend purchasing travel insurance sooner rather than later.

Travel medical insurance must be purchased at least one day prior to leaving your home country, although it is best to give yourself as much time as possible to review your options and make sure you understand your plan document to make sure you choose the best coverage for you.

Travel insurance can typically be canceled prior to making a claim. However, you must cancel your plan during the 14-day look period, if available, in order to receive a refund on your purchase.

Travel medical plans allow you to cancel for a full refund before your plan is effective. If you cancel after your effective date, the unused portion of the plan cost may be refunded minus a $25 cancellation fee, if you have not submitted any claims to Seven Corners.
