The exclusion states: “We will not pay for any loss or expense caused, due to, arising or resulting from: war or act of war, including invasion, acts of foreign enemies, hostilities between nations (whether declared or undeclared), or civil war, except as the policy specifically provides otherwise.”

Coverage available for travelers could include Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) and Interruption for Any Reason (IFAR).

Cancel for Any Reason: If a traveler wants the option to cancel their trip because of the war, they could utilize CFAR. Their reason for canceling a trip could include, but is not limited to, fear of travel due to the war. Interruption for Any Reason: If a traveler wants the option to interrupt their trip because of the war, they could utilize IFAR. Their reason for interrupting a trip could include, but is not limited to, fear of travel due to the war.
