Why should I buy Cancel for Any Reason?
Seven Corners Trip Protection includes trip cancellation coverage which allows you to cancel your trip for a list of covered reasons. If you want the option to cancel your trip for any reason you wish, you must add CFAR.
Not sure what CFAR is? Watch this short video and see how CFAR works if you have to unexpectedly cancel your trip.
Is COVID-19 coverage included?
Yes! Our plan includes benefits that protect you and your trip for COVID-19. View these benefits.
We ask for your trip cost when we provide a quote for coverage, and it should include nonrefundable expenses for airfare, a cruise, hotel, entertainment, excursions, house/condo rental, and other similar expenses.
It’s important to know how to calculate the cost of your trip for travel insurance.
It’s best to buy your plan as soon as possible after you make your first payment or deposit for your trip. Why? Certain benefits such as Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR), Interruption for Any Reason (IFAR), and the Pre-existing Condition Waiver are available only if you buy your plan within the specified time.
Trip Cancellation — If you cancel your trip for a covered Reason, the Trip Cancellation benefit in our plans reimburses unused, nonrefundable payments or deposits for the travel arrangements you purchased for your trip.
Trip Interruption — If you interrupt your trip due to a covered reason, the Trip Interruption benefit reimburses you for unused nonrefundable, prepaid travel arrangements and additional transportation costs to join your trip, rejoin your trip, or travel to your originally scheduled return destination.
You can't cancel or interrupt your trip for reasons not listed in the plan document, unless you buy optional Cancel for Any Reason coverage* or optional Trip Interruption for Any Reason* benefits.
*These coverages are available at an additional cost and are subject to certain eligibility criteria.
Trip Delay and Missed Cruise/Tour Connection — These coverages are also provided and include benefits that are triggered by events detailed in the plan document.
Seven Corners Trip Protection provides emergency medical coverage for accidents and illnesses that occur on your trip.
Our Emergency Medical Evacuation benefit covers expenses to transport you to the nearest medical facility where treatment is available if you incur a sickness or injury that is acute or life-threatening during your trip.
The Baggage and Personal Effects benefit covers your baggage and personal items if they are lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed during your trip or while checked with a common carrier.

Rather, this is a retail travel protection program that provides protection to a principal insured as well as 9 or more traveling companions.

Also,
the Medical Evacuation & Repatriation of Remains benefit in Trip Protection Choice provides
primary coverage. The Basic plan does not.
Excess Insurance Coverage
Insurance provided by our plans is paid in excess of all other valid and collectible insurance or indemnity (except Trip Protection Choice’s Emergency Accident & Sickness Medical Expense and Medical Evacuation & Repatriation of Remains) or as required by state law. If at the time of the occurrence of any loss payable under our plans there is other valid and collectible insurance or indemnity in place, we shall be liable only for the excess of the amount of loss, over the amount of such other insurance or indemnity, and applicable deductible. Recovery of losses from other parties does not result in a refund of your plan cost paid.

If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may cancel your plan within 14 days from the date of purchase by providing us or our authorized representative the cancellation notice. We will refund your plan cost paid provided there has been no incurred loss; you have not departed on your trip or filed a claim under your plan.
