Bucket Lister
Trip happens. When it does, it just becomes part of the story. And boy, do you have stories.
As a Bucket Lister, you have an actual list of all the places in the world you want to see. It might be in your head, but more likely, that list is saved in your phone, jotted down in a notebook, or maybe even plotted out in an Excel sheet. You have places to go, things to do, and boxes to check.
You’re goal-oriented, especially when it comes to travel. That hardly means you’re boring, though, or that you aren’t willing to embrace the journey. In fact, all of life is a journey. Each trip is just another stepping stone in The Adventure.
Your biggest challenge is that your list grows faster than you can finish it. Every “best of” article and Pinterest mood board you stumble across means you’re adding another destination (or six) to your bucket list. You don’t have any trouble keeping track of where you’ve been, though. You have the fridge magnets to prove it, along with a world map stuck full of pins on your wall and a collection of dog-eared guidebooks and travel memoirs on your shelf.
Packing light is essential when you strike out on your adventures; you can’t have luggage holding you back and keeping you from bagging those sites. This philosophy might extend to your travel companions, too. You have nothing against traveling with family or a group of friends, just as long as they’re game to pursue the same quests as you.
Where’s your next trip? The Seven Wonders of the World are calling your name, but so is an African safari to photograph the Big Five, or Cooper’s Hill Cheese-Rolling and Wake in Gloucester, England.
