This coverage can protect your trip expenses, medical expenses you incur while traveling, and your luggage and personal items.
Seven Corners Trip Protection includes trip cancellation coverage which allows you to cancel your trip for a list of covered reasons, which you can view in the plan document for your state of residence. If you want the option to cancel your trip for any reason you wish, you must add CFAR. (This coverage is available at an additional cost, is subject to eligibility criteria, and is not available to New York residents.)
Our plan protects the nonrefundable and prepaid amounts you spent on your trip if you need to cancel or interrupt your travels because of a covered reason. You may view the covered reasons in detail in the plan document for your residence state.
This benefit is an important part of travel insurance benefits, especially for travel abroad. It covers medical care you receive on your trip for an illness or injury that occurs while traveling.
We all travel with items that are important to us. This benefit ensures you have coverage if your belongings are lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed during your trip or while checked with a common carrier.

*For Seven Corners Trip Protection Plans, the terms "group travel insurance," "group coverage" and "group travel protection" refer to the fact that the product has been designed for 10 or more people who are traveling together as a group. The product offered is not group insurance within the meaning of state insurance laws and is not rated on a group basis within the meaning of state insurance laws. Rather, this is a retail travel protection program that provides protection to a principal insured as well as 9 or more traveling companions.
**Insurance provided by Economy and Elite is paid in excess of all other valid and collectible insurance or indemnity (except Accident & Sickness Medical Expense and Emergency Medical Evacuation/Medical Repatriation/Return of Remains for New York residents) or as required by state law.
Once you complete your purchase, you will immediately receive a receipt, a summary of your benefits, an ID card, and a copy of the plan document. The plan document is the legal document that explains how your coverage works and describes all benefits and exclusions for the trip protection plan. We recommend you read your Seven Corners Trip Protection plan document, so you understand how your plan works.
The plan is available to U.S. residents up to the age of 99 years.

Trip Protection Economy and Elite plans allow for an extension in these cases:
Extension of Coverage
All coverages will be extended if your entire trip is covered by this plan and your return is delayed due to unavoidable circumstances beyond your control. This extension of coverage will end on the earlier of the date you reach your originally scheduled return destination or five days after the scheduled return date.*
*This applies to residents of Washington. New York residents, please review the Insuring Provisions of your plan document to learn how and when your term of coverage can be automatically adjusted.
The insurance benefits provided by Economy and Elite are in excess of all other valid and collectible insurance (except for the Accident & Sickness Medical Expense benefit and Emergency Medical Evacuation/Medical Repatriation/Return of Remains benefit for New York residents). If at the time of loss there is other valid and collectible insurance, we are liable only for the excess of the amount of loss, over the amount of the other insurance and applicable deductible. About Seven Corners
For more than 30 years, Seven Corners Travel Insurance has offered customizable trip protection for domestic and international travelers. We know the unexpected can occur any time, anywhere. That’s why we provide you with robust coverage and support— so you’ll be prepared when "Trip Happens."
Inside the United States — You may seek treatment at any medical provider you wish.
Outside of the United States — Seven Corners has a large international directory of providers, and many of them will bill Seven Corners direct for treatment they provide. We recommend you contact us for a referral, but you may seek treatment at any facility.
Utilizing the directory does not guarantee benefits or that the treating facility will bill Seven Corners direct. We do not guarantee payment to a facility or individual until we determine the expense is covered by the plan.
Trip Protection Economy does not cover pre-existing conditions.
The pre-existing medical condition exclusion can be waived for Trip Protection Elite if you buy the plan within 20 days of the date your initial trip payment or deposit is received. Review your plan document for additional requirements as they can vary by state.
